What's a Daisy Grubber?

A daisy grubber is used mainly for removing weeds in lawns without damaging the grass.

The head is manufactured from forged steel, stainless steel or carbon steel. Some heads are made from aluminium and should be avoided other than for very light work and very infrequent use.
They are just not strong enough for a normal gardeners use.

The head and neck should ideally be forged in one piece for maximum strength. The handles are mainly wooden, plastic or aluminium.

The wooden handle versions tend to be  heavier and do need some maintenance to keep them pristine.  Handles vary in length and you should chose one that you comfortable with.

Some handles can be too short making them difficult and uncomfortable to use. So make sure it feels properly balanced and you can grip it easily.

What's This Hand Tool Used For?

The daisy grubber is a specialized hand tool and is used specifically for removing weeds from lawns without causing damage to the grass. It has no other practical uses in the garden.
